While this book is significant for both studies of Leslie Stephen and of Virginia Woolf, and keeping it in print is admirable, the publisher is less than professional. Rather than publishing a new edition, this is merely a copy of someone else's edition of the book, including marginalia and underlining. While this may interfere with an initial engagement of the book, it could present an interesting opportunity for scholarship. The publisher, however, is virtually impossible to get hold of, has no listed phone number, does not respond to email, and seems to have little accountability. It would be useful to be told in advance, for example, that the book is nothing more than a copy of someone else's copy, and it would be extremely useful to know whose marginalia is in the book.Product details
